“Runnin’ on Your Smile” is an upbeat country song built around young love, open roads, and the kind of simple memories that stay with you.

The idea came from remembering my dating days, the road trips we still make now, and a 1968 red Chevy truck I used to own. That old truck helped shape the image behind the song: a bench seat, a little rattle, a tank of gas, and nowhere better to be than riding beside someone you love.

I came up with the concept and used AI as a creative writing partner to help develop and refine the lyrics. Suno helped bring the music to life with a neotraditional country feel and a warm singalong chorus.
